Tadeo Astrada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marciano Gumaro made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Tadeo Astrada sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot by Lucio Nafarroa from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Marciano Gumaro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tadeo Astrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Marciano Gumaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Orlando Escobar in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Higinio Bikendi saved Esquel from getting behind. Higinio Bikendi didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Poblet AFC's Orlando Escobar shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-2 in the ordered_time% minute. After 27 played minutes Poblet AFC got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Urtsin. 30 minutes into the game, Edelmiro Urtsin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poblet AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Esquel the free kick. The supporters of Esquel booed when Poblet AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Urtsin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Israel Mannuel charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Lázaro Ramirez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Poblet AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lázaro Ramirez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Escobars short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Higinio Bikendi to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Escobar got free with Higinio Bikendi in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marciano Gumaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tadeo Astrada in the 94th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
