Lino Uhin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Osvaldo Paulin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Albano Saturnin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albano Saturnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Paulin having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Paolo Nayely managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting Club FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paolo Nayely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Lonzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Paolo Nayely came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Sporting Club FC fans jumped to their feet. Teofilo Mantzio scored 3-0 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Osvaldo Paulin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Osvaldo Paulin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Club FC's zone, Jeremias Nesor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Paulin came out of the goal and Jeremias Nesor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ramon Iraitz hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. A collision led to Sporting Club FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Paolo Nayely hit a great ball. Rene Nazario hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Club FC's zone, Lino Uhin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldo Paulin came out of the goal and Lino Uhin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute, Jeremias Nesor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldo Paulin was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Atlánticos fully deserved thier win.
