The tension between the Moctezuma FC and the Gimnasia y Esgrima de J. players grew even worse after the yellow card. 5 minutes into the match, Moctezuma FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Gutierrez came free, but Federico Rafe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Federico Rafe managed to avoid a goal in the 7thth minute, when Gimnasia y Esgrima de J.'s Eleuterio Erasto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 11 minutes into the match, Gimnasia y Esgrima de J.'s Eleuterio Erasto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Federico Rafe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 37th play minute Eleuterio Erasto came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Federico Rafe. 2-0.
