Spectators: 7253 (Terracing: 5475, Seating: 1678, VIP seats: 100) Eleuterio Erasto made the kick off and thus started the match. Eleuterio Erasto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Vinicio Bembe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Gimnasia y Esgrima de J.'s Cirilo Gutierrez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vinicio Bembe. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. 9 minutes into the match, INVICTUS's goalkeeper Vinicio Bembe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eleuterio Erasto. The crowd rose to their feet as Cirilo Gutierrez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vinicio Bembe. That made the score 2-0 in the 11 minute of play. If Cirilo Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Cirilo Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Bembe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to INVICTUS getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Alvaro Leocadio hit a great ball. Alvaro Leocadio got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Gimnasia y Esgrima de J. booed when INVICTUS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Leocadio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eleuterio Erasto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Vinicio Bembe made a huge save. Vinicio Bembe acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 29th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Teobaldo Venceslas. A collision led to INVICTUS getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Victorio Vidal hit a great ball. With a little luck, INVICTUS's Vinicio Bembe got control of the ball when Eleuterio Erasto tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 38 played minutes Cirilo Gutierrez rounded INVICTUS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. If Cirilo Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gregorio Lehen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marciano Jerardo having to make a save. Gregorio Lehen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Marciano Jerardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gregorio Lehen to strike the kick off in the second half. Cirilo Gutierrez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 54 minutes into the match, INVICTUS's goal looked a bit too open when Eleuterio Erasto came free, but Vinicio Bembe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute Eleuterio Erasto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Bembe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruno Martxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Bembe having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, Gimnasia y Esgrima de J.'s Cirilo Gutierrez made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinicio Bembe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 75th minute of the match Teobaldo Venceslas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vinicio Bembe showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Eleuterio Erasto sped through INVICTUS's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Vinicio Bembe. Eleuterio Erasto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cirilo Gutierrez came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Gimnasia y Esgrima de J. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Gutierrez couldn't finish the play. Vinicio Bembe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eleuterio Erasto in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd minute Eleuterio Erasto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vinicio Bembe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vinicio Bembe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Gutierrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gimnasia y Esgrima de J. were awarded a corner in the 95th minute after INVICTUS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cirilo Gutierrez took the corner. The corner led to Gimnasia y Esgrima de J.'s Bruno Martxel getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Gimnasia y Esgrima de J. had played much better football throughout.
