David Osoro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Efrain Pueblo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Orlando Escobar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Osoro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Poblet AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Donato Abaunza 27 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-2. David Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Efrain Pueblo, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. A collision led to Poblet AFC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Lázaro Ramirez hit a great ball. David Osoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Efrain Pueblo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46thth minute of the game Efrain Pueblo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Riverplatense en Bernabeu's David Osoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Silvestre Boni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Efrain Pueblo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Silvestre Boni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marciano Gumaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Donato Abaunza's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Silvestre Boni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riverplatense en Bernabeu's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvestre Boni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marciano Gumaro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marciano Gumaro came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Riverplatense en Bernabeu's Donato Abaunza. But to his dismay, Donato Abaunza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. In the 72nd minute, Donato Abaunza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 74th minute, Donato Abaunza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riverplatense en Bernabeu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. Orlando Escobar scored 5-3 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of David Osoro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leopoldo Arlo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marciano Gumaro saved Poblet AFC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Poblet AFC's Virgilio Gorri got a free kick in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Boni in the 92nd minute of play forced Poblet AFC's goalkeeper Marciano Gumaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Donato Abaunza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Gumaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riverplatense en Bernabeu's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
