Mauro Icardi had great luck who in the 25thth minute grab hold of the ball when Oscar Felipo from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Genaro Rius came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Aston Birra's Felipe Lucian. But to his dismay, Felipe Lucian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Orlando Leoncio succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 30th playminute. Cipriano Ganix could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Mauro Icardi made a huge save. In the 36th minute Felipe Lucian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genaro Rius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Aston Birra's Basilio Steven got a free kick in the 36th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Oscar Felipo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Borrachos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Felipo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvestre Hechter's late challenge caught a Aston Birra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Mauro Icardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando Leoncio, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Orlando Leoncio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Aston Birra booed when Los Borrachos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Hechter didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Los Borrachos's goal looked a bit too open when Igor Frans came free, but Genaro Rius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Orlando Leoncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Igor Frans fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Aston Birra's protests and gave Igor Frans a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Aston Birra's Igor Frans got a free kick in the 84th minute.
