Sarmiento's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiburcio Ortle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 18th minute, Benedicto Otoniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Conrado Orlin had several of the Crotto AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 21 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Roman Ignado as he didn't even see the shot coming. When Conrado Orlin fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarmiento's protests and gave Conrado Orlin a yellow card for diving instead. Conrado Orlin kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Conrado Orlin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Roman Ignado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Dolfos in the 44th minute of the match. After the first half Crotto AFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Melquiades Eudoxio hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Dolfos in the 67th minute of play forced Crotto AFC's goalkeeper Roman Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
