Teobaldo Vincent could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 19th minute of the match, but Gaspar Atauri made a huge save. After 21 minutes, Genaro Chap mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Franco FC and the Chascomús players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 21 played minutes Franco FC got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Chap. It was beautiful to see Chascomús's Roque Arce in action when he in the 23rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Teobaldo Vincent's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaspar Atauri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arturo Matro during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bartolo Baladi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Baltasar Guipuzkoa made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Franco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Guipuzkoa came free, but Bartolo Baladi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bartolo Baladi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baltasar Guipuzkoa in the 77th minute of the match. When Wilfredo Pasqual fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chascomús's protests and gave Wilfredo Pasqual a yellow card for diving instead. Wilfredo Pasqual hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Urbano Ordono during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 94th minute Bernardo Rafe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gaspar Atauri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Chascomús booed when Franco FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Galoer didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Franco FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chascomús were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
