Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Igor Frans got the match started through his kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Aston Birra's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Dolfos came free, but Mauro Icardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10thth minute of the game Conrado Orlin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Aston Birra's Mauro Icardi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Adan Dolfos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Mauro Icardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Sarmiento was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Orlin to maneuver through the defense. In the 19th minute, Aston Birra's Igor Frans ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edelmiro Oso. Edelmiro Oso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Jorge Arias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 23rd minute Igor Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Oso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the game, Damaso Garaona was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aston Birra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sarmiento the free kick. Damaso Garaona hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute, Adan Dolfos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sarmiento fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 33 minutes into the game, Aston Birra's Igor Frans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edelmiro Oso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. 38 minutes into the game, Silverio Isadore was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarmiento's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Aston Birra the free kick. In the 39th minute when Alejo Sedeni was dribbling his way through Sarmiento's defense he got a clear chance for a shot, but the shot went just outside the left post. If Felipe Lucian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarmiento's Edelmiro Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Frans in the 43rd minute of play. A collision led to Sarmiento getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Jorge Arias hit a great ball. Edelmiro Oso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Frans in the 46th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sarmiento's zone, Igor Frans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edelmiro Oso came out of the goal and Igor Frans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

If Conrado Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarmiento's Edelmiro Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Frans in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Igor Frans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Oso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Oso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Frans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Arias during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 70 played minutes Sarmiento got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Arias. Adan Dolfos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 78 minutes of play, Aston Birra's Igor Frans made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edelmiro Oso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Saturnino Primo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A nice corner shot did that Roman Romano got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Edelmiro Oso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Felipe Lucian scored 4-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edelmiro Oso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sarmiento's goalkeeper Edelmiro Oso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Felipe Lucian notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Sarmiento's Edelmiro Oso. Edelmiro Oso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aston Birra fans cheered their team off the field, for while Sarmiento had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
