Edelmiro Oso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Azeari, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of Napenay booed when Sarmiento was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Primo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sarmiento's Edelmiro Oso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Corderro in the 15th minute of play. Edelmiro Oso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saul Tanio in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Jorge Arias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquiles Toli. Napenay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jorge Arias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Edelmiro Oso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Azeari in the 25th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Saul Tanio sped through Sarmiento's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Edelmiro Oso. 31 minutes into the match, Jose Loi notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Sarmiento's Edelmiro Oso. Edelmiro Oso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Augusto Tabby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Tanio in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edelmiro Oso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Napenay's Saul Tanio got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When Napenay's Saul Tanio in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sarmiento's goalie prevented a goal. Napenay's Tadeo Olayo got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 68th play minutes Saul Tanio shot 1-4, a short shot which went by Edelmiro Oso and just under the crossbar into goal. Saul Tanio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Edelmiro Oso made a huge save. Tadeo Olayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edelmiro Oso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Olayo in the 77th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Tanio got free with Edelmiro Oso in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Edelmiro Oso managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Napenay's Saul Tanio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Sarmiento's Jorge Arias got his second yellow card of the match in the 82nd minute. The referee ordered Jorge Arias off the ground. Edelmiro Oso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Saul Libertad showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-5 in the 84 minute of play. Saul Tanios short, quick shot in the 90thth minute got Edelmiro Oso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Saul Tanio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Edelmiro Oso made a huge save. With a little luck, Sarmiento's Edelmiro Oso got control of the ball when Marcos Azeari tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Napenay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sarmiento throughout the match.
