But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fermin Chorche couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Elvio Bonifaco during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of DoLaR BluE booed when Aston Birra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Bonifaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Chorche in the 15th minute of play forced Aston Birra's goalkeeper Mauro Icardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Bras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Icardi having to interfere. The referee gave DoLaR BluE a penalty, 30 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rigoberto Blai, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Aston Birra's Mauro Icardi. 0-1. Fermin Chorche blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mauro Icardi having to make a save. In the 37th minute Manuel Bras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Icardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 37th match minute, Aston Birra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Bonifaco to maneuver through the defense. Aston Birra's Mauro Icardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Bras in the 45th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Frans made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Aston Birra's zone, Fermin Chorche stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauro Icardi came out of the goal and Fermin Chorche tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fermin Chorche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th match minute, Aston Birra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Steven to maneuver through the defense. Fermin Chorche sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DoLaR BluE's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
