Spectators: 7371 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 147) DoLaR BluE's Manuel Bras started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Napenay got a freekick which was hit by Zeledon Corderro. After 7 minutes of play, Napenay's Tadeo Olayo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christan Vieri was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 10 played minutes DoLaR BluE got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Cordara. Julian Duarte's late challenge caught a DoLaR BluE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. Julian Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeo Olayo in the 17th minute of play forced DoLaR BluE's goalkeeper Christan Vieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Napenay booed when DoLaR BluE was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolfo Estebano didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Marcos Azeari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23rd play minutes Saul Tanio shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Christan Vieri and just under the crossbar into goal. When Marcos Azeari came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Napenay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Azeari couldn't finish the play. The Napenay fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Napenay's Saul Tanio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Marcos Azeari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Christan Vieri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Azeari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match clock showed 40 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Saul Tanio sped through DoLaR BluE's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Christan Vieri. Segundo Illart charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Segundo Illart the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Segundo Illart hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Christan Vieri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeo Olayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute Saul Tanio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christan Vieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Napenay were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Tanio made a kick off. After 52 minutes, Ceferino Cordara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the DoLaR BluE and the Napenay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 52 played minutes DoLaR BluE got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Cordara. When Saul Libertad came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Napenay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Libertad couldn't finish the play. In the 57th match minute, DoLaR BluE was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manuel Bras to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Saul Tanio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christan Vieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Tanio in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Christan Vieri prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 62nd minute Saul Tanio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christan Vieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Chorche in the 65th minute of play forced Napenay's goalkeeper Aquiles Toli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, Napenay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Ilixo to maneuver through the defense. Saul Tanio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 84thth minute tested the skills of Christan Vieri when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Napenay's Marcos Azeari in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DoLaR BluE's goalie prevented a goal. Christan Vieri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Azeari in the 94th minute of the match. When the match was over Napenay could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than DoLaR BluE throughout the match.
