Genaro Rius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Otoniel in the 45th minute of play. Benedicto Otoniel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

54 minutes into the game, Esteban Janpier cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Genaro Rius was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cipriano Ganix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Ignado having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Crotto AFC's zone, Orlando Leoncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roman Ignado came out of the goal and Orlando Leoncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Crotto AFC's Roman Ignado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Felipo in the 66th minute of play. Orlando Leoncio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Ignado having to interfere. Fulgencio Senen kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. After having played for 73 minutes, Benedicto Otoniel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Crotto AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Otoniel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Ignado prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
