After a rather tough play, Retrogrados F.C's Daniel Hondo got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Roman Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Bernal in the 5th minute of play. After 14 minutes of play, Retrogrados F.C's Sebastian Cruz made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Ignado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roman Ignado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fausto Mergildo, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Roman Ignado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fausto Mergildo's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Sebastian Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Ignado having to interfere. Roman Ignado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. The corner led Retrogrados F.C's Javier Paz to fire away a dangerous shot which Roman Ignado despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Esteban Janpier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Eguerdi having to interfere. After 37 minutes of play, Retrogrados F.C's Fausto Mergildo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roman Ignado was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgard Bautista kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Fausto Mergildo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sebastian Cruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Crotto AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Retrogrados F.C were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fausto Mergildo to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Marciano Azibar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Crotto AFC and the Retrogrados F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Crotto AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marciano Azibar to maneuver through the defense. Roman Ignado was a little too slow when Fausto Mergildo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 52nd minute. The score was now 0-3. With a little luck, Crotto AFC's Roman Ignado got control of the ball when Sebastian Cruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute, Benedicto Otoniel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Cruz struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Roman Ignado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Retrogrados F.C. Esteban Janpier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Crotto AFC fans' excitement grew in the 68th match minute when Crotto AFC's Esteban Janpier looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Fausto Mergildo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th match minute, Retrogrados F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Arnas to maneuver through the defense. Esteban Janpier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Bernardo Eguerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sebastian Cruz came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Retrogrados F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastian Cruz couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 86 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Sebastian Cruz sped through Crotto AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roman Ignado. After a defensive mix-up in Retrogrados F.C's zone, Benedicto Otoniel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Eguerdi came out of the goal and Benedicto Otoniel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Retrogrados F.C's Bernardo Eguerdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedicto Otoniel in the 93rd minute of play. The Retrogrados F.C players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
