After a rather tough play, Huyamampa's Carolo Ralondo got a free kick in the 34th minute. A hard shot by Jacinto Orlo from long distance, 34 minutes into the match, got Mario Eneko's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Carlos Romano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Petrigai, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Xabat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute of the match, Rodolfo Egun tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mario Eneko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Angelo Taurino made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelo Taurino in the 54th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Romano saved Zapala FC from getting behind. Gonzalo Petrigai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Carlos Romano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute Angelo Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlos Romano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Eustaquio Todor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zapala FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eustaquio Todor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mario Eneko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Huyamampa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
