After having played for 36 minutes, Cecilio Elorri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Emilia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cecilio Elorri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Guaberto Frechoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santos Bermudo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. If Cosme Truylos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Emilia's goalkeeper Saverio Dominic, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lisandro Cordarius blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Saverio Dominic having to make a save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Santos Bermudo made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Emilia booed when Los Tira Humo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santo Chale didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santos Bermudo might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guaberto Frechoso. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Saverio Dominic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Chale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cecilio Elorri came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Emilia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cecilio Elorri couldn't finish the play. But to his dismay, Cosme Truylos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Cecilio Elorri struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Guaberto Frechoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Emilia. When Gustavo Orlin fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Tira Humo's protests and gave Gustavo Orlin a yellow card for diving instead. Gustavo Orlin kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Los Tira Humo had won after a very even match.
