The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Severiano Balendin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severino Dimas having to interfere. 8 minutes into the game, Nicolas Fidensio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CeJaEz's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Changos F.C the free kick. In the 8th match minute, CeJaEz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Fidensio to maneuver through the defense. Cipriano Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Felipillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prospero Tab's late challenge caught a Changos F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Prospero Tab helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, CeJaEz's Prospero Tab got a free kick in the 20th minute. Ramiro Birila received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Severino Dimas came out and tried to block the shot, but Ramiro Birila slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 21st minute. The supporters of CeJaEz booed when Changos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Cidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipriano Bernal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Irrintzi in the 28th minute of the match. Cipriano Bernal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Irrintzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Conrado Felipillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cipriano Bernal having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luciano Irrintzi to make the kick off. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Birila couldn't finish the play. Luciano Irrintzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rd minute, Severiano Balendin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Changos F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 78th minute, Luciano Irrintzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Ramiro Birila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Changos F.C's Cipriano Bernal got control of the ball when Conrado Felipillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Felipillo got free with Cipriano Bernal in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Changos F.C defense, Conrado Felipillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Bernal. The Changos F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Bernal should have stopped the shot. Ramiro Birila sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute Severiano Balendin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Dimas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ramiro Birila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Changos F.C were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
