Club Atletico San Lorenzo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Paulo Erroman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ceferino Miliano during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Los Cuervos F.C booed when Club Atletico San Lorenzo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Miliano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Flavio Cordairo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remigio Fortun having to interfere. Remigio Fortun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Cordairo in the 16th minute of play. Donato Stephen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saul Umbruso, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Paulo Erroman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Umbruso in the 26th minute of the match. If Flavio Cordairo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Cuervos F.C's Flavio Cordairo got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Remigio Fortun didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Placido Madeo went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 36 played minutes Los Cuervos F.C got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Weterio. Remigio Fortun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Flavio Cordairo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When Flavio Cordairo came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Los Cuervos F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Cordairo couldn't finish the play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Paulo Erroman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Los Cuervos F.C's Flavio Cordairo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Flavio Cordairo scored 0-2 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Remigio Fortun, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Placido Madeo struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Remigio Fortun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Cuervos F.C. Donato Stephen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Umbruso in the 89th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Los Cuervos F.C's zone, Saul Umbruso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Stephen came out of the goal and Saul Umbruso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Cuervos F.C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
