A hard, long distance shot from Orlando Ursino flew over the goal. Benito Ermano's late challenge caught a Argentino de Castelar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benito Ermano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 4th minute, Benito Ermano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Santos Garcia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aurelio Medina, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Re-tirados's goalkeeper Serafin Odilon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eustacio Udalaitz. Santos Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Santos Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Serafin Odilon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Re-tirados's Serafin Odilon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Re-tirados from getting a goal against them. Re-tirados's Serafin Odilon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Garcia in the 25th minute of play. Antonio Clis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santos Garcia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Odilon having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Garcia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Argentino de Castelar's Santos Garcia in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Santos Garcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Serafin Odilon having to make a save. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Re-tirados's goalkeeper Serafin Odilon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Serafin Odilon came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Argentino de Castelar's Santos Garcia. But to his dismay, Santos Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Serafin Odilon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. During the 72nd minute of the match Marco Bernebe completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Marco Bernebe a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Marco Bernebe hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Serafin Odilon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustacio Udalaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 2-1 became the score in the 75th minute when Santos Garcia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Argentino de Castelar's Santos Garcia in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Re-tirados's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Re-tirados's zone, Eustacio Udalaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafin Odilon came out of the goal and Eustacio Udalaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Re-tirados's Antonio Clis got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 92nd minute, Antonio Clis fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Leandro Eguntsenti. Argentino de Castelar's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
