The crowd rose to their feet as Sir Alex Gang's Ceferino Bastia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Augusto Batista. That made the score 1-0 after 4 minutes of play. After having played for 11 minutes, Ceferino Bastia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sir Alex Gang's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ceferino Bastia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 13th minute, Ceferino Bastia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sir Alex Gang fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Aaron Chale managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sir Alex Gang's supporters rose to their feet, but Aaron Chale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Batista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Aaron Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Aaron Chale took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Augusto Batista to make any attempt to save it. Augusto Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Bastia in the 36th minute of play. Club Aleman Bragadense's Augusto Batista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Bastia in the 38th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentin Euloxu to make the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Sir Alex Gang was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Vachon to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Bastia in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Batista prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Augusto Batista didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ceferino Bastia went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aaron Chale in the 64th minute of play forced Club Aleman Bragadense's goalkeeper Augusto Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute Ceferino Bastia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Augusto Batista saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ceferino Bastia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Ceferino Bastia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Sir Alex Gang booed when Club Aleman Bragadense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Cordarius didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 93rd match minute, Club Aleman Bragadense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Euloxu to maneuver through the defense. Aaron Chale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Club Aleman Bragadense's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
