Erubiel Tipi hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Hector Xabier had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Efraim. Los Pechos Frios FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hector Xabier was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Martin Efraim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ismael Berart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Teofilo Iban had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Teofilo Iban was the one to do the kick off. Daniel Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teofilo Iban, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. Leonardo Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Efraim having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Berart in the 57th minute of play forced Los Pechos Frios FC's goalkeeper Martin Efraim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Los Pechos Frios FC's Martin Efraim got control of the ball when Leonardo Mero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ismael Berart struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. But to his dismay, Juan Markel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Espinillo AFC's zone, Teofilo Iban stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Daniel Quintyn came out of the goal and Teofilo Iban tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Los Pechos Frios FC's Martin Efraim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ismael Berart in the 91st minute of play. Daniel Quintyn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Markel, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
