Rolando Felipillo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Enrique Acuña showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Raimundo Tohias to make the kick off. Bernabe Azeari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Felipillo having to interfere. 64 minutes into the game, Albardón's Bernabe Azeari nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rolando Felipillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucas Mirande during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rolando Felipillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enrique Acuña in the 97th minute of play. After 98 minutes of play Club Atletico Aldosivi's Abel Rudolfo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Enrique Acuña received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 107th minute. Rolando Felipillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
