Felipe Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Sauce's goal looked a bit too open when Hilario Quirze came free, but Felipe Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elvio Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matias Eliazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benjamin Nafarroa took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elvio Cruz. Viejas Locas fc's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a little luck, Sauce's Felipe Herena got control of the ball when Benedicto Pirmin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sauce's zone, Hilario Quirze stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Herena came out of the goal and Hilario Quirze tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 42 minutes, Hilario Quirze managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Viejas Locas fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hilario Quirze was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Sauce's Felipe Herena got control of the ball when Cleto Nazario tried to sneak it across the goal line. Viejas Locas fc's Elvio Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Eliazar in the 45th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Matias Eliazar made a precise shot to the right of Elvio Cruz. Viejas Locas fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matias Eliazar in the 49th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hilario Quirze was the one to do the kick off. After 52 minutes, Benjamin Nafarroa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sauce and the Viejas Locas fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 53 played minutes Sauce got a freekick which was hit by Benjamin Nafarroa. Benedicto Pirmin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felipe Herena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Nazario, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Hilario Quirze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Felipe Herena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute Hilario Quirze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felipe Herena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Matias Eliazar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sauce's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Eliazar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elvio Cruz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Viejas Locas fc's Elvio Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Viejas Locas fc from getting a goal against them. 77 minutes into the game, Herminio Hodei was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sauce's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Viejas Locas fc the free kick. Eulalio George didn't quite understand what happened when in the 79 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. 82 minutes into the match, Sauce's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Nazario came free, but Felipe Herena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Celipe in the 90th minute of play forced Viejas Locas fc's goalkeeper Elvio Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Matias Eliazar notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Viejas Locas fc's Elvio Cruz. Elvio Cruz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sauce's goalkeeper Felipe Herena, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Viejas Locas fc supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sauce's performance. The match ended with a win for Sauce.
