Gingins FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almagro the free kick. A collision led to Gingins FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Silvestre Theobald hit a great ball. After 17 played minutes Almagro got a freekick which was hit by Feliberto Bittor. 22 minutes into the match, Gingins FC's goalkeeper Serafin Firmo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anibal Gutxi. Serafin Firmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Gutxi in the 24th minute of play. Teofilo Baumar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Almagro's Severino Honrio got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute Teofilo Baumar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Almagro getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Faustino Ioritz hit a great ball. In the 30th minute Jonathan Enekoitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Gaspard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Anibal Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Gutxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Serafin Firmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anibal Gutxi made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Teofilo Baumar recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Melquiades Gaspard. Teofilo Baumar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. If Jonathan Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anibal Gutxi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Firmo having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, Martin Luzea notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Gingins FC's Serafin Firmo. Serafin Firmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Martin Luzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serafin Firmo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anibal Gutxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Baumar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Banegas kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Anibal Gutxi struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Serafin Firmo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almagro. If Anibal Gutxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Enekoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Melquiades Gaspard read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Melquiades Gaspard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Baumar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Firmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Gutxi in the 96th minute of play. The Gingins FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
