After a rather tough play, Azul FC's Leonides Lucian got a free kick in the 7th minute. Justino Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Gorka in the 13th minute of play. Justino Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Bastian, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Atilano Bernaldo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tolek Skonieczny having to interfere. Rosendo Roldan charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rosendo Roldan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Aldea got a freekick which was hit by Rosendo Roldan. Aldea's Generoso Vigil got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tolek Skonieczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Bernaldo in the 24th minute of play. With a little luck, Aldea's Justino Santiago got control of the ball when Isaias Gorka tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Abechuco in the 28th minute of play forced Azul FC's goalkeeper Tolek Skonieczny to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Aldea's goalkeeper Justino Santiago had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isaias Gorka. Justino Santiago made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when German Gaitan sent off a good shot on target. Bartolo Oton received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Justino Santiago came out and tried to block the shot, but Bartolo Oton slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 37th minute. In the 41st minute, Eulalio Abechuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosendo Roldan lost his temper 43 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 42 minutes into the game, one of Aldea:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Justino Santiago, was totally fooled by Azul FC's Samuel Bastia, who 45 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Atilano Bernaldo was the one to do the kick off. Efrain Fidensio thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Tolek Skonieczny, a very annoying self made goal in the 51st minute which led to 2-1. Aldea's Eulalio Abechuco got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aldea's Justino Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Gaitan in the 58th minute of play. Braulio Maria took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tolek Skonieczny. Tolek Skonieczny dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Aldea's zone, German Gaitan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justino Santiago came out of the goal and German Gaitan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Justino Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Oton in the 68th minute of play. Justino Santiago showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evelio Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. A collision led to Aldea getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Generoso Vigil hit a great ball. In the 79th minute Isaias Gorka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Justino Santiago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Justino Santiago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Gaitan in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Aldea getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Leonardo Oskitz hit a great ball. The supporters of Aldea booed when Azul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Bastia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aldea's Justino Santiago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Gorka in the 88th minute of play. Justino Santiago made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonides Lucian during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute, one of Azul FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Azul FC. When the match had been going on for 98 minutes, Aldea's Generoso Vigil got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tolek Skonieczny. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
