Hilario Quirze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 26 minutes of play, Azul FC's Bartolo Oton made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elvio Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cleto Nazario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cleto Nazario's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Tolek Skonieczny firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 41st minute, one of Viejas Locas fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Viejas Locas fc. Bartolo Oton took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvio Cruz. Elvio Cruz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bartolo Oton stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aldo Bastian during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Viejas Locas fc's goalkeeper Elvio Cruz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Viejas Locas fc's Benedicto Pirmin got a free kick in the 63rd minute. If Bartolo Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 68 minutes, Bartolo Oton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Azul FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bartolo Oton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th play minute Isaias Gorka came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Elvio Cruz. 2-4. Tolek Skonieczny stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benedicto Pirmin's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Tolek Skonieczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Nazario, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hilario Quirze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Elvio Cruz stood somewhat misplaced when Bartolo Oton came free in front of goal and shot 2-6 to the left of him in the 88 minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bartolo Oton in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elvio Cruz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tolek Skonieczny showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cleto Nazario, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Azul FC played a much better game than Viejas Locas fc and deserved their victory. The Viejas Locas fc players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
