Viejas Locas fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jose Felipo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose Felipo in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elvio Cruz saved Viejas Locas fc from getting behind. Elvio Cruz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Kinsen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jose Felipo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elvio Cruz was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Jose Felipo scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elvio Cruz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Amado Errapel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amado Errapel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elvio Cruz having to interfere. Elvio Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amado Errapel, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The Viejas Locas fc players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo África were winning 0-3.

52 minutes into the game, Amado Errapel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Elvio Cruz. Amado Errapel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Amado Errapel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Deportivo África's Paulino Marquez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Nazario in the 60th minute of play. In the 63rd minute Amado Errapel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elvio Cruz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Viejas Locas fc's zone, Alfredo Musko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elvio Cruz came out of the goal and Alfredo Musko tried to chip the ball over his head. Elvio Cruz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Elvio Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jose Felipo in the 74th minute. Elvio Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amado Errapel in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredo Musko in the 77th minute of play forced Viejas Locas fc's goalkeeper Elvio Cruz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amado Errapel was extremely unlucky when he, in the 78th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. With a little luck, Viejas Locas fc's Elvio Cruz got control of the ball when Baltasar Orlondo tried to sneak it across the goal line.
