Teodosio Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Artemio Duarte in the 9th minute of play. Team XII's Delmiro Bartolome played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florentino Edur in the 10th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Team XII's zone, Gustavo Jordy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmiro Bartolome came out of the goal and Gustavo Jordy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. TIBURON AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Abelardo Calvino scored to the left of an out of position Teodosio Marin, making the score, 1-0. If Abelardo Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Duarte got free with Teodosio Marin in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodosio Marin made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Geronimo Poncio sent off a good shot on target. Florentino Edur fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Bartolome having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Gustavo Jordy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Delmiro Bartolome was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. The supporters of TIBURON AFC booed when Team XII was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jesus Gorri didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 46th match minute, TIBURON AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Bautista to maneuver through the defense. Geronimo Poncio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Teodosio Marin made a huge save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Jordy was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to TIBURON AFC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gualterio Beliran hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Geronimo Poncio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Team XII's supporters rose to their feet, but Geronimo Poncio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodosio Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 69 minutes of play, Team XII's Artemio Duarte made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodosio Marin was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Gustavo Jordy came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the TIBURON AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo Jordy couldn't finish the play. Abelardo Calvino fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 76th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. TIBURON AFC's Florentino Edur got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodosio Marin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abelardo Calvino in the 87th minute of the match. If Florentino Edur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, TIBURON AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Duarte came free, but Teodosio Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Abelardo Calvino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
