In the 13th minute Vinicio Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Mateus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Amancio Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute, Bernardo Gerazan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Chipa FC.'s zone, Amancio Goito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Kepa came out of the goal and Amancio Goito tried to chip the ball over his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Argoitz in the 21st minute of play forced Chipa FC.'s goalkeeper Humberto Kepa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Humberto Kepa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Argoitz in the 25th minute of the match. Chipa FC.'s Vinicio Arias got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind leprosario's goalkeeper Benedicto Mateus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benigno Eleder charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benigno Eleder the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, leprosario's Benigno Eleder got a free kick in the 30th minute. Vinicio Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Amancio Goito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Kepa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Argoitz in the 39th minute of the match. After having played for 40 minutes, Pablo Argoitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. leprosario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pablo Argoitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When leprosario's Pablo Argoitz in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chipa FC.'s goalie prevented a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When Amancio Goito came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the leprosario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amancio Goito couldn't finish the play. 56 minutes into the match, Chipa FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Amancio Goito came free, but Humberto Kepa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A very good chance. leprosario's Benedicto Mateus proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save leprosario from getting a goal against them. leprosario's Amancio Goito got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Chipa FC. getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Cristian Izotz hit a great ball. Humberto Kepa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amancio Goito went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 99 minutes into the match, Amancio Goito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Kepa. Chipa FC.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amancio Goito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. leprosario had played much better football throughout.
