Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eugenio Beila took the kick off in the first half of the match. Maximiliano Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernabe Maule having to interfere. Calderón AFC's Maximiliano Arias got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Urbano Maidana came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Calderón AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Urbano Maidana couldn't finish the play. When the match clock showed 9 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Maximiliano Arias sped through Caraza's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernabe Maule. Calderón AFC's Gonzalo Silviano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Calderón AFC from getting a goal against them. Virgilio Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Bernabe Maule tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Abel Chus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 34 minutes, Leo Chorache mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caraza and the Calderón AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 34th minute, Leo Chorache hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Virgilio Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Bernabe Maule tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 40 minutes, Maximiliano Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calderón AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bernabe Maule stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximiliano Arias's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. With a little luck, Calderón AFC's Gonzalo Silviano got control of the ball when Ernesto Oliverio tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Maximiliano Arias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Norberto Nerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Bernabe Maule tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximiliano Arias was the one to do the kick off. Eugenio Beila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Gonzalo Silviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute Maximiliano Arias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernabe Maule saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugenio Beila in the 57th minute of play forced Calderón AFC's goalkeeper Gonzalo Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bernabe Maule took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximiliano Arias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Caraza's zone, Maximiliano Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Maule came out of the goal and Maximiliano Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urbano Maidana charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Urbano Maidana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Calderón AFC's Urbano Maidana got a free kick in the 63rd minute. When Maximiliano Arias came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Calderón AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Arias couldn't finish the play. Maximiliano Arias took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernabe Maule. Bernabe Maule dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 77th minute, Maximiliano Arias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Calderón AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Maximiliano Arias might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bernabe Maule. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maximiliano Arias ran back to his position shaking his head. 81 minutes into the match, Caraza's goalkeeper Bernabe Maule had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximiliano Arias. 83 minutes into the match, Calderón AFC's Maximiliano Arias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Bernabe Maule narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Caraza's zone, Maximiliano Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernabe Maule came out of the goal and Maximiliano Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caraza's Bernabe Maule proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Caraza from getting a goal against them. 92 minutes into the game, Fabricio Txanton was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caraza's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calderón AFC the free kick.
