The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Adan Edorta was the one to do the kick off. After 51 played minutes Team XII got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Gorri. It was a well-played corner which Vinicio Arias managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. After 58 played minutes Chipa FC. got a freekick which was hit by Filomeno Endira. Geronimo Poncio might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Humberto Kepa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Humberto Kepa came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Team XII's Geronimo Poncio. But to his dismay, Geronimo Poncio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Team XII's Geronimo Poncio got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Kepa came out of the goal and Abelardo Calvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Team XII could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Chipa FC. throughout the match.
