Bernabe Maule showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Artemio Duarte in the 27th minute of the match. It was a penalty for Caraza! 35 minutes into the match, Team XII's goalkeeper Delmiro Bartolome had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernesto Oliverio. 36 minutes into the game, Team XII's Artemio Duarte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernabe Maule made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. If Geronimo Poncio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Ernesto Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernabe Maule made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geronimo Poncio in the 60th minute. Bernabe Maule made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Geronimo Poncio sent off a good shot on target. Team XII's Artemio Duarte got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Goyo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Ernesto Oliverio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmiro Bartolome having to interfere. Eugenio Beila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Ilazki charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicolas Ilazki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Team XII getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Nicolas Ilazki hit a great ball. Abelardo Calvino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Bernabe Maule tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ernesto Oliverio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eugenio Beila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle sounded Team XII left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Caraza.
