If Manuel Beturian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 18th minute, Albano Honesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Kepa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Jordy, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. 32 minutes into the match, TIBURON AFC's Manuel Beturian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Humberto Kepa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Adan Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Humberto Kepa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Jordy in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gustavo Jordy was the one to do the kick off. Humberto Kepa came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by TIBURON AFC's Gustavo Jordy. But to his dismay, Gustavo Jordy quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Florentino Edur struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Humberto Kepa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TIBURON AFC. Teodosio Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adan Edorta in the 58th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Vinicio Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chipa FC.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodosio Marin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the TIBURON AFC defense, Vinicio Arias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teodosio Marin. The TIBURON AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teodosio Marin should have stopped the shot. In the 66th minute Adan Edorta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Chipa FC.'s zone, Gustavo Jordy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Humberto Kepa came out of the goal and Gustavo Jordy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of TIBURON AFC booed when Chipa FC. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Filomeno Endira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Teodosio Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adan Edorta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. TIBURON AFC's Teodosio Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Edorta in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vinicio Arias in the 85th minute of play forced TIBURON AFC's goalkeeper Teodosio Marin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Beturian struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Humberto Kepa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TIBURON AFC.
