Spectators: 7212 (Terracing: 5410, Seating: 1659, VIP seats: 143) Chipa FC.'s Adan Edorta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adan Edorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Garin having to interfere. Vinicio Arias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Adan Edorta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Atletico Rafaela's Fulgencio Garin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vinicio Arias in the 12th minute of play. If Erasmo Nofre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 14 minutes into the game, Carmelo Benitez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Humberto Kepa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 20th minute, Vinicio Arias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fulgencio Garin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 25 minutes into the match, Erasmo Nofre dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Humberto Kepa, 2-1. Vinicio Arias received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Fulgencio Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Atletico Rafaela's zone, Adan Edorta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Garin came out of the goal and Adan Edorta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulgencio Garin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adan Edorta's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Fulgencio Garin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Arias in the 41st minute of the match. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erasmo Nofre made a kick off. Humberto Kepa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erasmo Nofre in the 54th minute of the match. A collision led to Atletico Rafaela getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Wilfredo Benvide hit a great ball. Elvio Gamus's late challenge caught a Chipa FC.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elvio Gamus helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 58th minute of the game. One of Atletico Rafaela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chipa FC.:s goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Adan Edorta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fulgencio Garin. That made the score 2-4 in the 65 minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Carmelo Benitez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chipa FC.'s Humberto Kepa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Wilfredo Benvide charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wilfredo Benvide the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Atletico Rafaela's Wilfredo Benvide got a free kick in the 71st minute. Chipa FC.'s Adan Edorta got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd minute of the match Elvio Gamus shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Humberto Kepa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Atletico Rafaela's goalkeeper Fulgencio Garin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vinicio Arias. Aquiles Clodio's late challenge caught a Chipa FC.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Aquiles Clodio helped the player get up and apologised. Aquiles Clodio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. 96 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atletico Rafaela's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Justino Roano was slow to take the kick. During this time Chipa FC.'s players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Justino Roano almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atletico Rafaela's Fulgencio Garin did a great save. The Atletico Rafaela fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Chipa FC. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
