Gonzalo Silviano yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. When Nestor Bautista fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TIBURON AFC's protests and gave Nestor Bautista a yellow card for diving instead. In the 6th match minute, TIBURON AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Bautista to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of TIBURON AFC booed when Calderón AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximiliano Arias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gustavo Jordys short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Gonzalo Silviano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. TIBURON AFC's Higinio Jerano got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to TIBURON AFC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Nereo Demesio hit a great ball. Teodosio Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximiliano Arias in the 25th minute of play. Maximiliano Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodosio Marin having to interfere. In the 29th play minute Gustavo Jordy came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gonzalo Silviano. 2-1. Bonifacio Frantzes's late challenge caught a TIBURON AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bonifacio Frantzes helped the player get up and apologised. Bonifacio Frantzes kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. A collision led to TIBURON AFC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Nereo Demesio hit a great ball. Nestor Bautista made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Calderón AFC's Norberto Nerio. Gonzalo Silviano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Beturian in the 45th minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maximiliano Arias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, TIBURON AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Bautista to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Silviano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Edur, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Calderón AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Virgilio Gaufred was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, TIBURON AFC's Teodosio Marin got control of the ball when Maximiliano Arias tried to sneak it across the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 82 minutes into the match, TIBURON AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximiliano Arias came free, but Teodosio Marin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Maximiliano Arias came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Calderón AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximiliano Arias couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Florentino Edur managed to get in a good position for a shot. TIBURON AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Florentino Edur was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gonzalo Silviano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calderón AFC succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though TIBURON AFC had controlled the match.
