Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the game, Artemio Duarte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Teodosio Marin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 6th minute, Romulo Maju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute Geronimo Poncio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Teodosio Marin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Artemio Duarte went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in TIBURON AFC's zone, Geronimo Poncio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Marin came out of the goal and Geronimo Poncio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Beturian succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 22nd playminute. When Florentino Edur came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the TIBURON AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Edur couldn't finish the play. Gustavo Jordy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Delmiro Bartolome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TIBURON AFC's Teodosio Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Duarte in the 36th minute of play. Gustavo Jordy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Delmiro Bartolome tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmiro Bartolome stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustavo Jordy's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. When Florentino Edur came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the TIBURON AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Edur couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Gustavo Jordy made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Artemio Duarte got free with Teodosio Marin in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teodosio Marin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Artemio Duarte showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 56 minute of play. Teodosio Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Calvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 69 played minutes TIBURON AFC got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Jerano. After a defensive mix-up in TIBURON AFC's zone, Abelardo Calvino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Teodosio Marin came out of the goal and Abelardo Calvino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 74 minutes into the game, Nereo Demesio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TIBURON AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Team XII the free kick. After a rather tough play, TIBURON AFC's Nereo Demesio got a free kick in the 74th minute. Delmiro Bartolome showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Edur, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After having played for 83 minutes, Gustavo Jordy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TIBURON AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Jordy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 85 minutes, Nestor Bautista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TIBURON AFC and the Team XII players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, TIBURON AFC's Nestor Bautista got a free kick in the 86th minute. Artemio Duarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodosio Marin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. Melquiades Orlan hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. When the match was over Team XII could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than TIBURON AFC throughout the match.
