Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leopoldo Truylos started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Eulalio Indartsu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Roque Gervaso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silvano Rios stood somewhat misplaced when Leopoldo Truylos came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 9 minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Truylos in the 13th minute of play forced Copetonas FC's goalkeeper Silvano Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Froilan Ramirez fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Copetonas FC's protests and gave Froilan Ramirez a yellow card for diving instead. Froilan Ramirez hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Copetonas FC's Silvano Rios got control of the ball when Marcelino Mendez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Conrado Barros cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Roque Gervaso was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Copetonas FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Tomás Tano hit a great ball. In the 31st minute Leopoldo Truylos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Rios saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eulalio Indartsu in the 37th minute of play forced Ovara's goalkeeper Roque Gervaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Copetonas FC's Eulalio Indartsu got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Ovara's Edgard Iraitz got a free kick in the 42nd minute. After the first half Copetonas FC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

55 minutes into the match, Copetonas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leopoldo Truylos came free, but Silvano Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 59th minute by Eulalio Indartsu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Eulalio Indartsu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eulalio Indartsu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Roque Gervaso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Copetonas FC's zone, Marcelino Mendez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Rios came out of the goal and Marcelino Mendez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Copetonas FC's Genaro Ler got a free kick in the 71st minute. The supporters of Ovara booed when Copetonas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Ramirez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Truylos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Silvano Rios. Copetonas FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Truylos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 84 minutes into the match, Copetonas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Mendez came free, but Silvano Rios reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Iraitz kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Ovara's goalkeeper Roque Gervaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Indartsu. Copetonas FC's Froilan Ramirez got his second yellow card of the match in the 90th minute. The referee ordered Froilan Ramirez off the ground. A collision led to Copetonas FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Froilan Ramirez hit a great ball. Silvano Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Mendez in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th match minute, Copetonas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrado Barros to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Ovara's Ernesto Hori tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Copetonas FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
