In the 22ndth minute of the game Tadeo Cordarell who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Copetonas FC's Silvano Rios was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd match minute, Copetonas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Tano to maneuver through the defense. But to his dismay, Eulalio Indartsu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

After a defensive mix-up in Copetonas FC's zone, Godfredo Gaskon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Rios came out of the goal and Godfredo Gaskon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Tadeo Cordarell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Yomo. F.C's Gaston Cordeiro got a free kick in the 66th minute. Godfredo Gaskon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Copetonas FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Genaro Ler hit a great ball. Sebastian Sotil took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Silvano Rios. Copetonas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Copetonas FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
