Zeledon Oroitz struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Florentino Lano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Papagallos. In the 13th minute, Loreto's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alonzo Kelemen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alonzo Kelemen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 15th minute of the match, but Florentino Lano made a huge save. Florentino Lano made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Alonzo Kelemen sent off a good shot on target. With an all-out effort, Papagallos's Florentino Lano threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zeledon Oroitz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 23rd minute, Joel Sugoi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Loreto's goalkeeper Florentino Lano had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alonzo Kelemen. Loreto's Florentino Lano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Oroitz in the 28th minute of play. Florentino Lano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Oroitz in the 30th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Papagallos's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Sugoi came free, but Rolando Cordareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Papagallos's zone, Joel Sugoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Cordareo came out of the goal and Joel Sugoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 42 minutes into the game, Manuel Macario was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loreto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Papagallos the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Manuel Macario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 44 in the game by Alonzo Kelemen from a close distance when the talented Florentino Lano managed to make a qualified save. Loreto's players were relieved. Loreto's Florentino Lano proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to save Loreto from getting a goal against them.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeledon Oroitz made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Loreto's goalkeeper Florentino Lano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Florentino Lano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Oroitz in the 53rd minute of the match. The supporters of Loreto booed when Papagallos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clemente Ulizes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57thth minute of the game Zeledon Oroitz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Loreto's Florentino Lano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Papagallos's Rolando Cordareo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Papagallos from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Zeledon Oroitz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florentino Lano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Loreto were furious when Thomas Delaney was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Loreto! The referee gave Papagallos a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Clemente Ulizes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Loreto's Florentino Lano. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Sugoi in the 87th minute of play forced Papagallos's goalkeeper Rolando Cordareo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alonzo Kelemen scored 3-0 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Florentino Lano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Florentino Lano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Kelemen, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Florentino Lano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alonzo Kelemen's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Loreto's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
