Spectators: 7202 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leopoldo Truylos took the kick off in the first half of the match. SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE's Genaro Dunixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Mendez in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 played minutes Ovara got a freekick which was hit by Joel Azeari. After recieving a nice pass, SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE's Ivan Froylan tried to score from far away in the 5th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Anselmo Fidensio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Flavio Loco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roque Gervaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. After 13 minutes, Alonzo Oihan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ovara and the SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alonzo Oihan kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the match, Ovara's goalkeeper Roque Gervaso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anselmo Fidensio. Flavio Loco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roque Gervaso having to interfere. Vinicio Elequemedo struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Roque Gervaso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE. Anselmo Fidensio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Roque Gervaso made a huge save. If Marcelino Mendez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rodolfo Gamus during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.

The wind increased when Flavio Loco made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Alonzo Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Truylos in the 58th minute of play forced SOFIA M.V. XENEIZE's goalkeeper Genaro Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leopoldo Truylos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Genaro Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Marcelino Mendez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leopoldo Truylos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Genaro Dunixi having to interfere. Ivan Froylan kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The long shot by Ernesto Hori in the 77th minute really tested Genaro Dunixi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Leopoldo Truylos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 91 minutes, Leopoldo Truylos took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Genaro Dunixi to make any attempt to save it. The Ovara supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ovara would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
