SPORTIVO DJL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santo Castulo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aaron Pacorro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Argina's late challenge caught a Since 1913's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Argina helped the player get up and apologised. 18 minutes into the game, Augusto Panfilo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marciano Urbes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Santo Castulo's late challenge caught a Since 1913's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The corner ended in Dalmacio Mendez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but SPORTIVO DJL's Marciano Urbes did a great save. A collision led to Since 1913 getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Aaron Pacorro hit a great ball. Teobaldo Pirro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Urbes having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Castulo was the one to do the kick off. Teobaldo Pirro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marciano Urbes was a little too slow when Aaron Pacorro got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in SPORTIVO DJL's zone, Teobaldo Pirro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marciano Urbes came out of the goal and Teobaldo Pirro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Since 1913's Aaron Pacorro in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SPORTIVO DJL's goalie prevented a goal. SPORTIVO DJL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 68th minute, when Aaron Pacorro scored to the left of an out of position Marciano Urbes, making the score, 0-3. Thanks to some nice moves Aaron Pacorro could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Marciano Urbes however easily saved by the left post. Laureano Euloxu charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laureano Euloxu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 75th minute, Laureano Euloxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute of the match Laureano Euloxu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marciano Urbes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 83 played minutes Since 1913 got a freekick which was hit by Laureano Euloxu. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Santo Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SPORTIVO DJL's supporters rose to their feet, but Santo Castulo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benigno Lizer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marciano Urbes didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 87th minute, which inside left pole to 0-4. If Teobaldo Pirro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Since 1913's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
