Ruben Calisto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Domingo Firme. Andagualá AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Leopoldo Bihar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Ferroviarios FC's Inocencio Panfilo got a free kick in the 10th minute. Arnoldo Navarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Firme having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Arnoldo Navarro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferroviarios FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnoldo Navarro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Firme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 22 minutes, Arnoldo Navarro made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Andagualá AFC's Domingo Firme tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ferroviarios FC's Elias Ixona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Gabino in the 25th minute of play. After 30 played minutes Ferroviarios FC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Clodio. In the 31st minute, Jonatan Orlandus sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Ferroviarios FC's Elias Ixona didn't even have to move. In the 32nd match minute, Ferroviarios FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Generoso Clodio to maneuver through the defense. Arnoldo Navarro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Domingo Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Generoso Clodio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maximo Hernandez made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Leopoldo Bihar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Ixona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Andagualá AFC's zone, Arnoldo Navarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Firme came out of the goal and Arnoldo Navarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnoldo Navarro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Domingo Firme having to make a save. Elias Ixona took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Pinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Feliberto Gumaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Firme having to interfere. Arnoldo Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Ferroviarios FC's Arnoldo Navarro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Domingo Firme narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Domingo Firme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnoldo Navarro's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Ferroviarios FC's Elias Ixona played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximo Hernandez in the 74th minute of play. Arnoldo Navarro had several of the Andagualá AFC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 78 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Domingo Firme as he didn't even see the shot coming. Elias Ixona showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leopoldo Bihar in the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Andagualá AFC's Leopoldo Bihar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elias Ixona made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. If Arnoldo Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maximo Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leopoldo Bihar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Ixona having to interfere. Elias Ixona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Bihar, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After some careless play in the Ferroviarios FC defense, Leopoldo Bihar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Ixona. The Ferroviarios FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Ixona should have stopped the shot.
