Spectators: 7290 (Terracing: 5470, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Ciro Cordearo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Cornelio Iraido came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by SANTO DOMINGO FC's Ciro Cordearo. But to his dismay, Ciro Cordearo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Andres Hegoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. SANTO DOMINGO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Andres Hegoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornelio Iraido breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Herminio Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carolo Ekialde having to interfere. Cornelio Iraido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Cordearo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 30th minute, Casimiro Neron reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Carolo Ekialde. The goal made the score 1-1. After 35 played minutes SANTO DOMINGO FC got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Hitz. SANTO DOMINGO FC's Carolo Ekialde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardino Teyo in the 36th minute of play. Baltasar Gaizkine received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Cornelio Iraido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, Ciro Cordearo notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Buchanan's Cornelio Iraido. Cornelio Iraido was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Cornelio Iraido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciro Cordearo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardino Teyo to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to SANTO DOMINGO FC getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Nicolas Suarez hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Cortez in the 52nd minute of play forced SANTO DOMINGO FC's goalkeeper Carolo Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Bernardino Teyo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 56th minute Andres Hegoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Iraido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 56 minutes, Victor Rik mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Buchanan and the SANTO DOMINGO FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Victor Rik kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Gotzon in the 64th minute of play forced SANTO DOMINGO FC's goalkeeper Carolo Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gaston Ariando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, SANTO DOMINGO FC's Gaston Ariando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cornelio Iraido narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ciro Cordearo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Iraido having to interfere. Carolo Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Cortez in the 72nd minute of the match. Cornelio Iraido made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Ciro Cordearo sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciro Cordearo in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Iraido prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciro Cordearo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Cordearo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cornelio Iraido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimiro Neron in the 82nd minute of play forced SANTO DOMINGO FC's goalkeeper Carolo Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. SANTO DOMINGO FC's Ciro Cordearo got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Buchanan fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. SANTO DOMINGO FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
