In the 2nd match minute, Pelmazo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tiburcio Viator to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the match, El Progre's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Gonza came free, but Juan Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 11 minutes, Joel Silvino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Progre and the Pelmazo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pelmazo FC booed when El Progre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Silvino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Veronica charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benjamin Veronica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 13th minute, Benjamin Veronica hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 13 played minutes, Pelmazo FC's Candido Montrell shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juan Quiroga came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pelmazo FC reached it. Isaias Evangelista came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by El Progre's Bernabe Miliano. But to his dismay, Bernabe Miliano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Armando Gonza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Quiroga having to interfere. A collision led to El Progre getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Francisco Argider hit a great ball. Bernabe Miliano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Isaias Evangelista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pelmazo FC's Candido Montrell got a free kick in the 27th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pelmazo FC's zone, Domingos Senin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaias Evangelista came out of the goal and Domingos Senin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Gustavo Froila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39th match minute, El Progre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Veronica to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Bernabe Miliano managed to get in a good position for a shot. El Progre's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernabe Miliano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Evangelista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernabe Miliano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gustavo Froila could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Juan Quiroga made a huge save. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Armando Gonza made the kick off in the second half. If Bernabe Miliano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Froila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Quiroga having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Armando Gonza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pelmazo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Armando Gonza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 60 minutes of play, Pelmazo FC's Armando Gonza made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Quiroga was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of El Progre booed when Pelmazo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Viator didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th match minute, Pelmazo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Eutor to maneuver through the defense. When Anibal Loren fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pelmazo FC's protests and gave Anibal Loren a yellow card for diving instead. Anibal Loren hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Isaias Evangelista was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Andres Erasto. Gustavo Froila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Quiroga having to interfere. Armando Gonza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
