Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciro Cordearo made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, SANTO DOMINGO FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Natal came free, but Carolo Ekialde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Ciro Cordearo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ciro Cordearo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Leoiar having to interfere. Andres Hegoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. German Leoiar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Mauro topo's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ciro Cordearo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Gaston Ariando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Piarres charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. If Andres Hegoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
