Spectators: 7220 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) 3 minutes into the game, Gustavo Froila recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hernan Lluc. Gustavo Froila showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 6 minutes into the match, Pelmazo FC's Gustavo Froila sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hernan Lluc narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Agustin Francis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pelmazo FC's goalkeeper Isaias Evangelista, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Rene Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Froila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Hernan Lluc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Armando Gonza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pelmazo FC reached it. Margarita's Hernan Lluc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anibal Loren in the 26th minute of play. If Rene Chale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Margarita's Benedicto Xabat got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Pelmazo FC's Candido Montrell broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Elvio Misael charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Elvio Misael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 35th minute, one of Margarita:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Margarita. The referee gave Pelmazo FC a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Candido Montrell, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Margarita's Hernan Lluc. 2-0. In the 41st minute Armando Gonza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hernan Lluc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Pelmazo FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Feliciano Colas hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Esteban Mano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteban Mano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rene Chale stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Margarita got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Camerino. Hernan Lluc showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Gonza in the 60th minute of the match. Esteban Mano struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Isaias Evangelista didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Margarita. Armando Gonza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Hernan Lluc tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Esteban Mano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Lluc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Armando Gonza, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A collision led to Pelmazo FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Agustin Francis hit a great ball. Rene Chale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaias Evangelista having to interfere. Pelmazo FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
