Cirilo Odon kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, El Progre's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jonathan Natal fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Jonathan Natal who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Juan Quiroga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. With his leg Juan Quiroga managed to avoid a goal in the 17thth minute, when Mauro topo's Jonathan Natal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Jonathan Natal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Quiroga having to interfere. Bernabe Miliano took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised German Leoiar. German Leoiar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 26 minutes into the match, El Progre's goalkeeper Juan Quiroga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Natal. If Marcelino Astigar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Marcelino Astigar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Juan Quiroga. The goal made the score 1-1. Marcelino Astigar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Mauro topo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 39th minute Domingos Senin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but German Leoiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernabe Miliano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Leoiar having to interfere. German Leoiar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Domingos Senin went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 46 minutes, Francisco Argider mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Progre and the Mauro topo players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute, Francisco Argider hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcelino Astigar in the 49th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Quiroga saved El Progre from getting behind. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Bernabe Miliano made the kick off in the second half. After 62 minutes, Segundo Oxarra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mauro topo and the El Progre players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of El Progre booed when Mauro topo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Segundo Oxarra didn't get a good kick on the ball. German Leoiar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernabe Miliano's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Arsenio Gonchan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Domingos Senin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mauro topo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 70th minute, when Bernabe Miliano scored to the left of an out of position German Leoiar, making the score, 1-4. Oscar Venceslao struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Juan Quiroga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mauro topo. In the 77th match minute, El Progre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benjamin Veronica to maneuver through the defense. Juan Quiroga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelino Astigar in the 79th minute of the match. Bernabe Miliano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernabe Miliano kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving German Leoiar. That made the score 1-5 in the 82 minute of play. 85 minutes into the match, El Progre's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Astigar came free, but Juan Quiroga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Marcelino Astigar came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Mauro topo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcelino Astigar couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, El Progre's Benjamin Veronica got a free kick in the 88th minute. Domingos Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Leoiar having to interfere. In the 94thth minute of the game Bernabe Miliano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mauro topo's German Leoiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. German Leoiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Miliano in the 96th minute of play. In the 97th minute, Segundo Oxarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The El Progre players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
