Ciro Cordearo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Oscar Gutxi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 5 minutes, Andres Hegoi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SANTO DOMINGO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andres Hegoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14th minute, Cesar Llin made a precise shot to the right of Carolo Ekialde. SANTO DOMINGO FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Justo Abeijon hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. 26 minutes into the game, Bernardo Viviano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Carolo Ekialde. Bernardo Viviano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Viviano in the 29th minute of play forced SANTO DOMINGO FC's goalkeeper Carolo Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gaston Ariando came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the SANTO DOMINGO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Ariando couldn't finish the play. If Andres Hegoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carolo Ekialde made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesar Llin in the 38th minute. Andres Hegoi struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Oscar Gutxi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SANTO DOMINGO FC. In the 43rd minute, Ciro Cordearo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute Ciro Cordearo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Gutxi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Modesto Malvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 51st minute of the match, Andres Hegoi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oscar Gutxi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Oscar Gutxi came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by SANTO DOMINGO FC's Andres Hegoi. But to his dismay, Andres Hegoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Andres Hegoi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ciro Cordearo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Oscar Gutxi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carolo Ekialde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Llin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carolo Ekialde didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bernardo Viviano went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Oscar Gutxi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andres Hegoi showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 79 minute of play. If Andres Hegoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustino Sugoi's late challenge caught a SANTO DOMINGO FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustino Sugoi helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Super Gula getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Faustino Sugoi hit a great ball. When Andres Hegoi came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the SANTO DOMINGO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Hegoi couldn't finish the play. SANTO DOMINGO FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
