If Maximo Hernandez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Bernardo Gotzon fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buchanan's protests and gave Bernardo Gotzon a yellow card for diving instead. Bernardo Gotzon kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Jonatan Orlandus sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Buchanan's Cornelio Iraido didn't even have to move. Domingo Firme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Herminio Cortez in the 19th minute of play. In the 23rd minute Herminio Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Domingo Firme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 28th minute, Albano Gabino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 32 minutes, Herminio Cortez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buchanan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herminio Cortez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 33 minutes, Albano Gabino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Andagualá AFC and the Buchanan players grew even worse after the yellow card. Albano Gabino kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 36thth minute of the game Herminio Cortez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Andagualá AFC's Domingo Firme was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domingo Firme made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Severiano Jerardo sent off a good shot on target. Filomeno Farias kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Herminio Cortez in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Firme saved Andagualá AFC from getting behind. 47 minutes into the game, Alonzo Pasqual was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Andagualá AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buchanan the free kick.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Herminio Cortez was the one to do the kick off. When Teodosio Lordi fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buchanan's protests and gave Teodosio Lordi a yellow card for diving instead. Domingo Firme came out of the goal and Herminio Cortez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andagualá AFC's Domingo Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Cortez in the 66th minute of play. Domingo Firme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severiano Jerardo in the 68th minute of play. Severiano Jerardo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Domingo Firme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buchanan. In the 72nd minute, Herminio Cortez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Herminio Cortez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Domingo Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Andagualá AFC's Domingo Firme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Cortez in the 77th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Buchanan's Severiano Jerardo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Domingo Firme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herminio Cortez in the 92nd minute of the match. Maximo Hernandez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
