An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Gaizkine in the 3rd minute of play forced Osamenta Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Gregorio Miro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carolo Ekialde took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Felipo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Baltasar Gaizkine got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Albino Fe during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gregorio Miro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baltasar Gaizkine, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Baltasar Gaizkine came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the SANTO DOMINGO FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Gaizkine couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, SANTO DOMINGO FC's Andres Manex got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Pitin in the 28th minute of play forced SANTO DOMINGO FC's goalkeeper Carolo Ekialde to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Hegoi scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gregorio Miro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Fermin Hitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. SANTO DOMINGO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fermin Hitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Miro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Osamenta Fútbol Club's goalkeeper Gregorio Miro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Baltasar Gaizkine recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Osamenta Fútbol Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SANTO DOMINGO FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rene Felipo to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Rene Felipo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Ekialde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Osamenta Fútbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ciro Cordearo came free, but Gregorio Miro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andres Hegoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 64 minutes, Gaston Ariando managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SANTO DOMINGO FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gaston Ariando was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Carolo Ekialde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Stanislao in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Godofredo Ladio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Andres Hegoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gregorio Miro was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Ciro Cordearo managed to get in a good position for a shot. SANTO DOMINGO FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ciro Cordearo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gregorio Miro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gregorio Miro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Hegoi in the 73rd minute of the match. If Rene Felipo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Rene Felipo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Osamenta Fútbol Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 84 played minutes SANTO DOMINGO FC got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Gaizkine. With a little luck, Osamenta Fútbol Club's Gregorio Miro got control of the ball when Gaston Ariando tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ciro Cordearo in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregorio Miro saved Osamenta Fútbol Club from getting behind.
